Akeso Healthsearch is a leading nursing and healthcare recruitment agency. We work in partnership with both public and private hospitals, as well as in semi-acute facilities, paediatric homecare, residential services, and practice nursing.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Director of Nursing to join a nursing home in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality care and a safe, supportive environment.
• Develop and maintain individualised care plans, ensuring resident needs and preferences are met.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, and development, promoting best practices in care delivery.
• Conduct audits and implement quality improvements to maintain full compliance with HIQA standards.
• Enforce health and safety protocols, including hygiene, fire safety, and preventive maintenance.

Requirements:

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing home management experience.
• Level 6 qualification in Management, Leadership, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage teams, with strong communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of HIQA standards, regulatory compliance, and residential care best practices.
