Akeso Healthsearch is proud to partner with a leading private hospital in Dublin to recruit a dedicated and skilled Surgical Nurse. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected clinical team and deliver exceptional care within a dynamic surgical ward environment.

Requirements:

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration

• Minimum of 1 year of post-registration experience in a surgical ward setting in Ireland, the UK or EU (essential)

• Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

• Eligibility to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 or EU citizenship required) – sponsorship is not available

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients before and after surgical procedures

• Monitor patient progress, manage post-operative care and promptly respond to changes in condition

• Administer medications, manage IV lines and assist with wound care

• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient recovery

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with hospital policies

• Adhere to infection prevention, clinical safety and best practice standards at all times
