Practice Nurse

Akeso Healthsearch is a leading nursing and healthcare recruitment agency. We work in partnership with both public and private hospitals, as well as in semi-acute facilities, paediatric homecare, residential services, and practice nursing.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a part-time Practice Nurse to join a GP Practice in Naas, Kildare. The role is 3 mornings a week. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy environment
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management
• Assist with ECGs, cervical smears, and other routine procedures
• Support GPs in delivering patient care
• Engage in patient education and health promotion

Requirements:

• Registered with NMBI as a General Nurse
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a practice nurse (required)
• Competency in phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, chronic disease management, ECGs, ear syringing
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Applicants must possess a valid work visa (Stamp 4 or Stamp 1G) or EU/EEA citizenship to be eligible for this position
