Job Opportunity: Registrar – Gastroenterology | Limerick| Immediate Start

Akeso Healthsearch is currently seeking applications for the position of Registrar in Gastroenterology for a hospital in Limerick, with an immediate start for a minimum period of 4 months, and a strong possibility of extension.

Requirements:

• Active IMC Registration (General Division)

• Eligibility: Stamp 4, Stamp 1G, EU passport, or Irish passport

• Experience: Minimum of 2 year’s Registrar-level experience in Gastroenterology in the UK or Ireland.

• Preferably prior Gastroenterology experience with procedural skills

Duties:

• Inpatient care in gastroenterology and general internal medicine

• Attendance at clinics, ward rounds, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings

• Maintenance of accurate clinical documentation and involvement in audit or quality initiatives

• On-call commitments as per departmental rota
