Job Description:

Diagnostics based in Ireland is recruiting for a qualified Senior Respiratory Physiologist to join its new state-of-the-art outpatient respiratory diagnostic centre in Co. Waterford, Ireland.

The main role is to perform and report on Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) and to report on at-home sleep studies.

Candidate Requirements

1. Possess a Physiologist/Clinical Measurement degree or equivalent, or a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent.

2. Have 1–2 years post-qualification experience as a Respiratory Physiologist in a hospital setting.

3. Experience performing and reporting autonomously on Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs).

4. Experience in setting up and scoring at-home sleep studies.

5. Excellent interpersonal skills with awareness and sensitivity toward patient needs.

6. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

7. Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate well internally and externally.

8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

9. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
